Yanmar 336D!!

Greetings...

Well, it's dark and cold out, but I'm still smiling For the past while I've been playing with my new tractor-the Yanmar 336D! See the attachment for a (rather dark) image. Hopefully I'll have some "action shots" moving logs, etc... this weekend {smile}.
Along with the tractor came an operators manual, a manual for the Yanmar 1500 loader, and even some of the original advertising literature! I also found out I'm the third owner.

Does it have power steering? Was the dealer right or not on that?? If not, it would be a most unusual 336D

There are a number of us with 336s with the loader....almost enough to begin to a booklet of 336-specific information. I almost said that they hold their value well in the Rocky Mountains, but that wouldn't be true because the original new purchase price was so high. What is true is that they are still expensive tractors. I've never seen a decent 336D w/loader for under 10.5K locally, and only one at that price.

Power Steering

It does in fact appear to have power-steering (more like a power-assist steering, I think-when you're moving (at all, even creeping) the wheel turns very easily. If you're stopped that's not quite the case...).

Tractor with FEL, cab, 1861 hours went for 8500 + tax...it's got a little rust here and there, and the tires aren't new (but should still last a few years), but other than that in good shape-the guy delivering it even new it's history-first purchased by a local Catheter plant to plow there parking lot and mow the property, then sold to their neighbor who used it for much of the same on his personal property. He traded it in for a new Deere, and I'm the third owner /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif .

With the tractor can an operators manual for the tractor and YL1500 as well as the Curtis Canopy (it's not a full cab), ROPS, and original Yanmar 336D advertising literature. Nice surprise!
