I'm fixing up my new 2210d and part of that is new lights all around...
I have noticed several lengthy threads on our headlight bulbs... seems the consensus is that we can't use a drop in led bulb but I can't seem to figure out why...

Can someone tell me why something like this wouldn't work?

Should work, especially if the machine has the modern VR. ;)

I see similar listed 'for Yanmar' on Ebay all the time. Should work.

But kinda expensive. I just need normal light to find my way back to the barn so I've never upgraded. For plowing or snowplow work etc at night - sure, do it!

I have a spot where I burn logs and other woods debris down a pretty steep winding trail behind my house and even though the nut bag that had all the lions and tigers is now in jail it still is nice to see that there aren't any big kitty cats hiding around the corner coming up the hill at 3am LOL

Last summer...

I may have to mental bookmark this. I travel to my farm on weekends and try to get as much done as possible since it's 3 hours away and I only have weekends usually to work. I often will bush hog several hours after dark. More light is always better! A few years ago I put a LED rear work light on that I had laying around.

Yup... I could here the lions roaring every night around sunset... but they're all gone now... the ones he didn't move out of state, and didn't die, are now in the care of the Indianapolis zoo....

I figured you were talking about the tiger king guy. Is there another one?? Crazy

The neighbor in front of us had 11 tigers and a lion. He finally decided he wanted his life back and farmed them all out.
The cages were made of chain link fencing and 4x4s.
Needles to say we had a few sleepless nights here, I'm kinda glad they are gone, for the grandchildren's safety.

Wild animals don't belong in cages. That's just wrong IMO. The kids would be tasty morsel play candy. :(

I don't get the point?🤷 Why have big cats in a small 4x4 cage? Why have them as a normal citizen at all? They must cost a fortune to feed. I don't see how that particular guy could have a profitable opeation of there kept 8n conditions like that...not this day in age

Agreed.

Plus - any guesses on whether he had insurance to cover damage or death caused by one of the animals?

They make HUGE money... millions
They claim to be helping endangered species but actually just turn out as many cubs as possible and charge people to play w and take pics w them and then they get constant donations from people who think they're helping a good cause....

Exploitation at it's worst....

Clem the cages were HUGE some were 100' long.
The posts that held it together were just 4x4s pressure treated wood.....

That said, even 100' probably didn't seem huge to an animal that covers a range of 50-150 square miles in nature...

Oh, haha! I was visualizing a tiger standing in one of those outside dog pens like you see at Tractor Supply Company!

I didn't think about donations from scam charity and selling cubs.
