Yea I read that part too!!

I mean it works well with Fredrick cause there time tested and everyone on every yanmar forum praises them but this is some random guy selling yanmar painted blue calling them Mitsubishi 's!!!!! Who the heck would buy from this guy??

I emailed TractorCo, asking why the misrepresentation of their YM1401D. Curious if I get a response.

TractorCo knows there aren't any reputable Yanmar dealers as you get beyond several hundred miles from Fredricks. There's no place to buy a competent refurb out here. I see somebody selling obvious VN refurbs out east of Los Angeles but that's it, for 2000 miles. So apparently he sees an opportunity. Whether anyone will bite - we don't know yet. I don't think we've seen a TractorCo customer appear here yet.

Norm we would love to see what he replies!

Well sounds like Aaron has talked to a few that need parts so I imagine there a few out there. Unless these tractor Co folks are just so dumb that they don't even know what they have???? And are trying to buy parts for their tractors as what they appear as??? I don't know. I would pay Frederick and pay the $900 freight fee or whatever before I bought one of those idiotic looking tractors!!

Yeah Hi Guys, I bought this YM1401D Mitubishi and .................. ( All the Mits forum guys think he's nuts cos they've never heard of that model)

Yanmar's lawsuit was settled without going to court. They did not really have the legal grounds that Kubota had in the previous lawsuit. Yanmar basically said it was OK to continue to import the grey market tractors as long as a country of origin decal was affixed to the tractor and Yanmar was removed from the tractor. This is why you now see YNM tractors being sold by VN. The settlement was more involved then this but this is the gist of it.

a bit more than just removing the decal.. All yanmar decals don't have to be removed... If that were the case.. Fredricks would have to remove the yanmar decal...
