The only thing I don't like about my BX25D is when a friend stops by and calls it "cute". He's got a Case 580 so I guess everything's relative....:laughing:

I agree...and I also dislike when the "naysayers" call the BX25D an "over sized wheelbarrow!" I love mine and can attest to the little dynamo's power to do things beyond what you'd expect! :thumbsup:

Put that Piranha tooth bar on, mount some LED lights on the ROPS, get 'er dirty and she starts looking mean. If that doesn't help then sit your wife on her!

There's a fair chance he'll ask you to help him out with a project that his Case is too big for and then you can have the last laugh. One size does not fit all!

This is a true story happened tonight. I just got done posting earlier today about how to responsd to 'cute' and then I go visit a bro-in-law tonight and no kidding... the first thing he says tonight when the subject of tractors/excavators comes up (yeah the guys snuck off to the kitchen), was ''yeah, those BX's are cute!'' I wanted to smack him but just chuckled to myself!

Second thing he said was, ''did you get a trailer for it?'' I said, ''No, and I think you know why''. He laughed.

In 1964/65 the outcome of street drag racing was the bigger the ci of the motor determined the winner. A friend had two Pontiac Catalinas (parent sold "spirits" out of a house) with 421ci engine. He won all races until a "cute" 1965 Mustang 289ci 271hp High Performance factory engine showed up and, well, my life changed that night when "cute" beat big and mean and bigger no longer automatically meant "the winner". Big and mean had no excuses and never asked for a second "run". I've had many BXs and Bs and one Grand L and the BX25 has been my favorite most versatile and usable tractor. Bigger ain't better, it's just bigger.
