I got the part from Hoye. They had a used part. My buddy tore down the tractor and found the broken part in 2 hrs. As you can see from the start of this posting, I originally knew nothing about this tractor, (and I MEAN NOTHING!!!) I was even uneasy about how to jack up the tractor. Once my buddy showed me, It would have taken me 8 hrs or more to find the broken part. I spent another 8 putting it back together by myself. The hardest being not to drop the locking pins for the PTO gear shifters inside the PTO housing and making one of my own gaskets. ( and to find the time) Finding the correct parts diagram also helped. Had my buddy been here, he would have done the same job in 3 hrs, but he is a PRO. The tractor now runs just like it should on the back end,... I am very pleased.
Time to take a look at the front end,.. that will be another learning experience,... and another posting :laughing:,.... Tom
