Exactly DOC if he can move it 1/8 turn its not seized. BUT smoody that does not mean there is no internal engine damage, like scored liners or other damage from over heating, but im sure you know that.

But yea unless he is holding it for you, you need to load up the trailer tonight and just take it home!! See if he will throw any implements in as well.

Ofcourse I bought it ! here is a pic.

I was able to turn the engine with a breaker bar, so its not seized. After getting it home and looking it over really well what it needs right off is:

Fuel Bowl - it has a carck in it and looks like water in it
Radiator filled/flushed
Battery and new ground wire
Front left seal is leaking
compression lever is hard to open
brake job
clutch adjustment
paint...

I am going to start by getting all new fluids in it and battery and see if it will fire up.

Oh, I had to go up to $600, but still think it will be worth it.

Awesome find man way to go happy you got to it in time even if it did go up in price it looks great! I am pulling for you that she starts right up and runs fine I am betting she will. :thumbsup:

Gotta chuckle. 9 years reading this board and I finally see a photo of a Yanmar weathered worse than mine.

Smoody you did good. Appearance doesn't predict the working condition on these.

I expect you will have it in use after spending under $200 for what should be routine maintenance. Flush the cooling system, replace oil, filters, battery, maybe replace the transmission fluid if you see evidence of water. There's not much else these need, unless you decide to do an appearance renovation too.

Changed all he fluids, put battery on it and it didn't do anything, having starter checked am, replacing cables to.

The tag on engine says 2TR22

On my working 2210 it says 2T90

What's the difference?

I tried that..I just didn't go into detail.
Did he 2210d have different engine?

I have no idea on that. But its possible cause i know California said the ym2000 had at least 2 maybe 3 engines. But it could be an engine out of something else possibly? But i doubt thats a VN tractor it looks to have been her awhile.

But it could have been put togeather before it even got here, i just dont know?
