Never heard of such a thing!

In the late 70s I worked for a woman who had a CB radio in her Cadillac!

I repaired those in business.

Great thread! Can't believe I just found it.

Getting old is:

1. Having to pee, while you're peeing.
2. Sitting on the toilet, and having your nuts hit the water.

And on that subject...


I did that in grade school!

Speaking of nuts for me it started about 10 years ago (early 60s?) tie my shoes I thought someone kicked me there! When I have to pee it's like R I G H T N O W...only to have a 1/16" stream and 5-10 minutes!
As a teen it was like a garden hose & 20 seconds!

The worst was the dribble after peeing
The urgent need and the dribble all gone now. Phew

I had the surgery for that... it took me 10 years and 3 doctors, and by then I really needed to do something. I was passing blood clots and the first doctor told me it was "concentrated urine."

My first radio was a crystal set with a long wire antenna run out my bedroom window.

Me too... still have the wire out the window at moms place and the CB antennae on the roof...

Childhood memories... built a radio room in the attic... Perfect size for a 10 year old.

The first computer I worked on in the USAF had vacuum tubes requiring 300VDC power supplies and a LOT of air conditioning.

See a doctor about it. While it could be signs of prostate cancer, it could also just be an enlarged prostate, squeezing the life out of your tubing. I take two medications for that. Everything works great now.

But best to get it checked if you already haven't.

I had the rotorooter procedure (called turp, sp?) done about 15 years ago for the gotta go NOW and the need to go every 10-15 minutes. It was an enlarged prostate and for awhile after the surgery all was good but for the last several years I have reverted back to the NOW and OFTEN. Doc says everything checks out and cannot understand why it is happening. Tried every drug prescribed for (and some not) the frequent need to urinate and some OTC supplements, nothing has helped. It doesn't help that I am prone to kidney stones and must drink often but still I have many times urinated, walked to the mailbox (50 yards) and have to go again. If I need to go to town I make sure not to drink anything for a few hours prior to leaving which aggravates the kidney gravel pit.

I have decided I must have a tea cup bladder.

When you realize the kid carding you for alcohol wasn't even born yet, when you turned 21...

At this point in my life, likely his parents hadn't been born either.
