Wouldn't it be nice to have a drain on the gear box so the oil could be changed out easily.

Thank you for your all posts, i will consider all of them.

Not to be snarky, but I will anyway - if you are designing a rotary cutter, and you have to ask what a guide wheel is - definitely do MUCH more research before you call your work done. ;)

Sir, your communication approach is not pleasant at all. I know what guide wheel do. I just tried to get right answer. I need to explain all of these to my manager. So, i need to learn what bothers you exactly. The answer which i am looking for is not "guide wheel is used for guide."

Best regards.

Just curious - you said the unit would not be made in China. Where exactly will it be made? Country of Origin?

Exactly. "Give me all of your info, but I refuse to share mine."
and, if you dont share your info or ask questions, it is nationalism.

I can assure you it is not going to made in China. I know that much :) First i thought you said this because of the nationalism or something else. We will be sure about quality.

Can you disclose your country?

I like the new Kingkutter design that has a smooth rounded top that sheds water if stored outside. I think most rotary cutters have too steep of an angle on their front skids that dig in on uneven terrain. My first tractor had a short wheelbase, so the skids were digging in all the time. I added guide wheels and they made a huge difference. A more shallow angle to the skids would also work. Better yet if it was a radius rather than a straight angle.

I believe so, i sad this because of the production amount. But i have to asked: Does it matter for you ? Cause it is a good feedback for marketting.

I would like to keep US people employed and US dollars in US.... I am tired of best quality Chines still sort of slapdash crappy....

Also quick hitch comparable....

Not sure if I follow this, and I don't mean to sound argumentative. I see how the tops can get pushed aside by the round back , but isn't their stalk/trunk either in the (round) blade path or it isn't, regardless of the shape of the mower?

Not argumentative at all.

The round back pushes the long stalks sideways and down until the stalks get pinned down under the side rails. Since my plane of blade rotation is higher than the bottom rim of the cutter's shroud, the blades pass above the stalks.

It would be nice if you could have some kind of rotating saw blade that you could spring out from the top that could cut off trees that are bigger than an inch or two. When you are clearing land and encounter a tree that is slightly too large to go through the cutter, wouldnt it be cool if there was a spring loaded saw blade that popped out from either the right or left side that could cut off a 3-6" (8-12cm). That way you dont have to stop, get out a saw cut the tree, pull it out of the way, etc. I'm not talking about a whole forest of larger wood, just thie one-off big things that come up once or twice per cutting.
