There are several comments about bearings on the tail wheel. I don't have a problem with the simple (no bearing) design that most have today. I think the real problem is the spindle and the wheel axle collect grass and it binds the wheel and spindle. I think the same would happen even with good bearings. How about a tail wheel design that doesn't collect grass and weeds, by shielding the axle and spindle?
