Great topic, Txdon. Bungee cords & a steering wheel spinner are two easy, cheap additions that I will be making.

Adjusting a manual toplink is such a pain in the neck, that for me, it basically never got done. Just pick a middle of the road setting and go with it.

My vote is for an hydraulic toplink. The easy, extra control when boxblading or brush hogging is truly amazing. The hyd. toplink gets used twice as much as the 3PH lift arms for "on the fly" brush hogging adjustments. Neither the brush hog nor the boxblade are as exciting to use a backhoe or even a front loader, but an hyd. toplink transforms their functionality from static to dynamic in a way that's easy to appreciate and enjoy.

The only thing I've added to the L3710 is a holder for a 3 gal water can that's strapped to the ROPS. I added a bracket and about 500lbs of suitcase weights on the front of the Ford.

My Nh 1920 came with one as oem on the fender.. so I din't have to add it... My yanmar had fender handles too.

My MF also came with a handle on the fender. But I put one on the loader up-right. That way, I have a handle for both hands. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My TC-40D came with them also. They are the first thing that I reach for before putting my foot on the step plate. I also reach for them at times while mowing to stabilize my body.

1. Loader - I got my Kubota originally w/o loader. It was the best addition, albeit more expensive than most have mentioned in replies so far /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
2. TnT - Oh ya! Every tractor should come from the factory with it installed /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'm working on rear lights, and a silly squeeky horn /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is a great thread. Thanks for starting it.

Since I don't have everything I "need" for my tractor yet, don't think I ever will, but it's been interesting to see what others think their best additions are. It's also interesting to see that it's not always the high dollar items that turn out to be the most useful.
