Choppersaurus! :confused2:

A truck axle, driveshaft, and a sharpened leaf spring, it doesn't get any more redneck than that.

News Flash: An ATV operator suffered fatal head injuries while pulling what appeared to be a homemade mower that was not equipped with any kind of safety shielding behind his ATV.

Would that even spin fast enough to cut anything?

Looks like it can. There's evidence on the inside of the left side tire.

"Frankinmower"

The scary thing about that, besides the fact that there is no guard/ deck, is the fact that it's always live and ready to chop your leg off. I don't mean when your pulling it with a machine, but just maneuvering it around by hand.

Don't park it on an incline, imagine that thing rolling away by itself

There are a lot of those in East Texas-- used as pasture clippers. Can be pulled with anything I guess, e.g. truck or tractor.

In the future, prairie dogs become such a problem that landowners become desperate. The innovation is then adopted by guerilla militias throughout the developing world.

The link said "43cent trail mower." Wonder how it came to 43 cents? That's before the ER visit and funeral costs to be sure.

I wonder how long the 1/4" bolts holding the blade will last before they shear? I'd wanta be somewhere else... I saw this rig or something like it on youtube - just the noise would scare most folks.

You know I am not much of a "safety policeman" but that thing is dangerous as all get out. It gives me the "Willeys" just to look at it.

The caption reads:

"Boys, how many times have I told you to work on your vertical jumps? Get 'yer butts over here and get serious!"

Ive seen them used a few places. i have a friend that used them behind an old tractor that he pulled with behind his 3 point bush hog. He was cutting alot of thick soft vegetation. He had a screen behind his seat for it. He made one with a large stump jumper off a wrecked hog. IT would push the smaller tractors if yo u tried to stop too fast.

SOMEWHERE A MYSTERIOUS HOODED FIGURE DRESSED IN BLACK IS HUNTING FOR HIS SICKLE.

That thing reminds me more of some type of primitive weapon. Like those balls of fire the ancient romans rolled down hills on the enemy armies. Scary
