My favorite is the Allis Chalmers 620/720 series. The original SCUT built back in the early '70s. 20 HP, hydrostatic drive w/3 speed gear box, hydraulic lift system, Cat 0 3pt hitch, electric PTO clutch and built like a tank. I have a 1974 AC 620 in excellent condition with the following attachments; 60" MMM, 50" 3pt tiller, 50" sickle mower, 60" front sweeper, 50" front snowblower, 60" rear blade and many pull-type attachments.

So I have a Simplicity 4041 PowerMax that I also use. It is the same tractor pretty much. Onan motor with a metal tank body and Cat 0 3-point with PTO AND front Hydraulics! I love mine. I have a 60" MMM, Front Hydraulic Blade (Snow Blade), 60" Cat 0 Rear Blade, and Danco Cat 0 bushhog. Pretty sweet machine. I use mine to cut the steep banks of my pond. In fact I may go get here out right now

1959 Simplicity 700 "Wonder Boy", upgraded decades ago to a 36 inch deck and 8HP L-head, cast-iron Briggs (from original run-out 7HP). Solid machine, even after all these years and three motors though it...

Thats "Pops" on the mower I bought him for Xmas. He has cut my grass twice a week ever since. It was only once a week when he had the old one I gave him 4 years before.

back in the 70's, sears sold a lawn tractor, made by Roper: it had a 16hp onan engine, and all sorts of implements: i plowed several gardens with that little machine, and it did a great job: plus it would out mow anything i have had since, and i've had wheelhorse and snapper mowers: 4 fwd gears plus add in a hi an lo range transmission, runs it up to 8..great piece of equipment.

Sounds like a SS16 Twin. That was the best Sears mower ever made as far as I am concerned. I wish that we had never gotten rid of the one we had.
