After recovering from thanksgiving I felt ready to finally give my MEP-952b APU a good run while measuring fuel consumption and power output as accurately as possible.
Below is a photo of my Excel spread sheet.
The entire house was supported in addition to a 1500 watt heater for added load.
My hot air wood furnace was cycling on & off during the test.
I used 105 amps for my calculations which was lowest reading.
Surges up to 160 amps occurred as appliances cycled on & off.
I believe the data is accurate.
If you see errors please bring them to my attention.

At a glance, solid math...... looks like about 30L (8 gal.) for a 24hour day.

Great planning exercise..... you also added some headroom with that 1500w heater, and won't necessarily run continuous.

IIRC, you have a sizeable cache of fuel on hand, so I'm sure it's comforting to know exactly what your minimum run-hours will be with no refill.

You've checked off most of the "boxes" on your system....... one thing of interest would be an extended run in the dead of Summer..... I suspect your cooling fans have plenty of capacity, but that delta T would be interesting.....

One thing I liked on the lesser Xantrex inverters (1 to 2kw range, not as smart as yours) is that the idle current is also very low.... it all helps during extended outages....

I thought the efficiency was rather high then I realized the calculations were the DC values so I added data showing actual AC power produced at 84% efficiency and the cost.

The upper right watt values (2940.00) and (2469.60) are watts/hour.
The lower right values are Kw’s/gal generated and the cost per 100Kw’s.

Apparently half the value of that settlement is in PG&E stock to be distributed to victims. Whereas the insurance companies got pure sweet cash in their $11 billion settlement.
