Good to hear in field report of Bluetti...
Sounds like it is well built and perfect for keeping the quality of life things operational during an outage.
Thinking about you guys... last year my 80 year old neighbor sold and moved to Salem... wonder how Howard is getting along at 81...
What specific tasks did the Bluetti perform?
Actually, the power went out when I was in California with our bees in almond pollination.
Liz & I saw the storm coming so I told her to plug in the Bluetti and get it topped off.
Last summer, we had the foresight to buy a 700 watt microwave for just such an event and she was able to cook 3 meals a day with it powered by the Bluetti!
So with our wood heat, Bluetti, and all of our normal supplies, she did just fine until I returned on day 3.
With 1500 watt hours, the Bluetti could run the microwave for 2 solid hours on one charge.
But think about it; you normally run a microwave for one - three minutes max.
One charge would probably last for weeks.
Never the less, we charged it while the generator was running every other day just to stay ahead of things.
It runs the coffee maker just fine.
One evening we pugged in the stereo and a lamp on the kitchen table and played cards into the evening.
In all, we are glad the lights are back on, but we have no complaints; we were very comfortable.
Comfortable at an affordable price....
