IH2444 1968. 1500 hours.
Am going to look at a Kubota 4wd around 30 hp with 260 hours. tiller, rear finish mower, landscape rake and back blade for 13,900 this weekend though.
Don't know the exact model number. I wonder if the owner will take my wife in trade ?

Let me know about that one;) If you need to up the ante a bit, I'll throw mine in on the deal, and you can keep the Kubota. If it'll make things more attractive, I'll haul it home for you.

She just got home from a shopping trip with my 2 daughters. I smell hot plastic..................... :(

I'm really surprised by this so far!!! I'm beginning to wonder if those with new tractors are reluctant to respond for some reason. I knew 3RRL would respond. I hear most of the discussion on these forums by late model tractor owners. But those that are responding here are the vintage model owners. Anyway, their loss!!!

So far we've had 21 responses. The average age of the tractors reported is 19.66 years old!!! That's awesome!!! Should give everyone a good feeling if they've bought a late model, quality tractor!!! They've got a lot of years of use ahead of them. :)

I was especially surprised by the positive responses from the Yanmar owners that are still running tractors that are twenty plus years old!! :)

Just read a post from Birdhunter1 about his purchase of a 17 year old tractor and whether it was vintage or not. From that I got an idea that it might be interesting to hear the age of your tractor. For those that have multiples, we don't need to hear about all of them. To set a fair playing field, you can only list the tractor you put the most hours on in a year. So one tractor per person, the most used. All sizes of tractors, CUTs and SCUTs apply.

Mine would be a 2001 Kubota B2910.

Honestly, I would have to say it's close to a tie between the '91 2955 and the '61 4010 (both ag tractors). The 4010 will be retiring to light duty work in the near future though.

1943 Cat D6, I'm the 3rd owner. Paid $2000 for the tractor, 12' disc, 6 yard pull can scraper, 3 shank 30" sub-soiler. Don't get me wrong, I know that this stuff was worn out. 2 days of messing with the Cat, and drove it on the low bed.:) Pulled the radiator and built a new lower radiator outlet, re-install, did a major fluid change and adjust the tracks. Tractor paid for itself the 1st year that I disked the property. Now the disc was a different story. They literally fell apart before I had 5 acres done. $2200 later though, I have a completely rebuilt John Deere offset disc with sealed bearings.:)

Before I got the Cat, I was using my Case 310E dozer most of the time. A 1955 model I believe. Hopefully in the future I will be doing a lot of work with my Mahindra 7520 and exceed the hours spent with the Cat when disking the property.:D

light green Yanmar 240D (4WD) with same headlights as California's YM 240 so is it under 30 years old? The hour meter only measures to 999.9 hours before rolling over. Bought it with a small water leak from the block, that was 1500 hours ago.
The tractor seems fairly durable, so far.

My 2005 Kubota B7510HST/LA302 FEL has been the workhorse my first year here at the new place in the North Valley.

Got a 1966 MF-135 diesel in July and am cleaning it up now to get ready to disc my pasture land when the rainy season starts in Nov and the ground softens up.

Will probably average 50-60 hr/year on each one in the future.

1943 Case SC

It has a tricycle front end (tight turning radius) and added on live hydraulics + a creatively engineered 3 point hitch. It was my great grandfather's and has been passed through the family to me. Every year it faithfully cuts, rakes and bales 500-600 bales of hay. It smokes a little, but is very dependable.
