I'm home with the Covid and I'm really starting to appreciate Youtube. I've watched it plenty of times before when looking up something, like a tool or fencing ideas, or something that I'm wanting to do, but I've never used it for entertainment. Most of my searches have been for Homesteading type shows, but I also enjoy watching a big batwing mower clean up a piece of land!!! I just went through all the posts on this thread and wrote down a bunch of names. It's 1pm in the afternoon and I'm going to take a nap, but when I wake up, I'm going to start looking at some of the names on my list. Thanks to everyone who posted, it's horrific being stuck inside my home when the weather is so nice outdoors!!!

Ditto! Cheer up; I think they are getting ahead of this thing; one of our friends who is middle aged and has Diabetes has just been sent home. They cleared up her Covid and her Pneumonia. Best wishes for a speedy recovery (P.S. my daughter and her husband just got over it too; their recovery was pretty smooth).

Thank you. I seem to have a mild version of Covid. Temp is 99.7 and my joints are achey, but I don't have any sinus or lung issues. I do have skin hyper sensitivity, and that's really weird because he moves around. Patches of my skin become painful for awhile, then it goes somewhere else. It was funny last night when it hit my ears!!! Otherwise, it's nowhere near as bad as when I had the flu two years ago.

I've been watching a lot of Youtube and so far my favorite thing is Family Feud funniest clips. Some of the things people say just kill me!!! Also Johnny Carson is great when he has a really famous old time comedian on. Don Rickels is probably my favorite, but I'm enjoying all of them.

I keep trying to get into a long running series of Homesteading type shows, but the keep doing things that drive me crazy. Some of the big farm shows are good, but it's hit or miss on what they are showing. When they are working, it's good. When they are just talking and talking, I lose interest.

Other then Youtube, I'm enjoying a show called "Building of the Grid" I have no desire to ever have solar for power, but I do enjoy the challenge of building in remote areas and seeing their solutions. With ROKU, we subscribed to PHILO, which allows me to save every season and watch every episode when I want to. I also really like "Homestead Rescue" I didn't at first, but my wife did, so I stuck it out with her and fairly quickly I changed my mind and went from thinking Marty was a nut job, to being really passionate about whatever he is doing. There are a lot of things that he does that I don't agree with, but I also know there is a lot that happens that they cannot put on a show. Mostly the lying about finding 50 brand new sheets of ZIP siding just laying around to use on a build type of thing that I wish they wouldn't do.

I'm stuck at home, stuck indoors, and only able to focus for short periods of times to work on bids for jobs, so I'm spending massive amounts of time watching TV and napping on my sofa. Any suggestions on interesting shows to watch will be greatly appreciated.

Not really a sitcom guy but favorite oldies to watch (besides MASH) are Barney Miller & Night Court. (Ok, the only ones I watched.)

Back on YT, IMO Jim Gaffigan is a guy to watch. Funniest History Jokes | Jim Gaffigan Standup - YouTube

Eddie, I hope you're feeling 'better sooner'. Prayers for you and yours. jon

Get better soon Eddie, second the Jim Gaffigan.
Also like to watch some of the older rock concerts, and travel, since I miss being able to go anywhere.

If you like old tractor restorations, here is a very good channel: Squatch253 - YouTube

He focus mainly on old Cat equipment, from D2 up to D4, graders, etc. Also works on Farmall tractors. He just finished a Farmall Super M.

He does beautiful restorations, including tearing the entire tractor apart bolt by bolt.

If you don't like talking, it's probably not for you. But this talking is not like those channels that just strechch the videos with non sense, this talking reveals loads and loads of knowledge, tips and tricks, checking old service books, explaining how things work and if it could be improved or not. Well, the list just goes on and on.

I fully recommend watching this channel.

I can second this. Have been subscribed for a while and will add that the techniques he uses and tools he fabricates apply to more than just his present project.
