z225 cutting problems

If everything is installed correctly the Trouble Shooting guide has this information: Uneven Clipping Distributation = 1) Cutting height set too low. 2) Mowing too fast. 3) Grass too wet.

Let me know what you find out. Maybe some others on this forum with a similar mower (Z225) will chime in with another solution. Good Luck

Did you ever get this figured out? I'm having the same issue.

The spindle is not long enough to fit 4 blades on a Z225.

Find something level to park the mower on, and measure the 4 blade tips to the surface.

Is the front of the deck lower than the back? Like 1/4 in to 1/2 in?

Mulching blades do not necessarily give the best cut.

The Gator blades I used do not give as good a cut as the regular blades.

It is also not a good idea to mulch tall grass, or wet grass.

My deck was bent at the spindle which is why mine was uneven.

I installed a new deck but still do not think it cuts tall lawn (Bermuda) well in one pass.

Thanks alot for your help that helps me getting started trying to find the problem i spoke to a guy today and he said it might be because my blade is bent on the right side. what ever it is hope its covered on warranty. Thanks again
