Thanks guys, the only thing I don't like so far is it doesn't have lights!
I had & just sold my diesel 2007 kubota ZD326 pro model(60 inch deck)for a 2011 JD X740 garden/lawn tractor(diesel)60 inch 7-iron deck. The kubota ZTR was built like a tank, mowed fast, and very dependable. My problem it was **** on my lawn(tore it up) and to heavy for my yard.We live back in the woods & the lawn stays pretty moist most of the year.Other than that they are great ZTR,s.coobieToday the Local Kubota dealer brought out a ZG222 and a ZD221 for me to demo. Beautiful bits of machinery but I am a little undecided. I have pretty much scratched the ZG222 48", but like the ZD221 54" very much, the only dislike was the ride, he suggested bringing out the ZG327 60" for me to try, he thinks they ride better due to bigger tyres and a bit longer wheel base plus a suspension seat.
Im just a little worried the 327 will be too heavy and wreck my lawn? any user experience/suggestions between the 200 and the 300 series would be greatly appreciated.
I love the Diesel due to the fact it was quiet (although when mowing the ZG222 was only a fraction noisier) and i don't have to worry about stocking petrol/gas due to everything on our farm is diesel.
Decisions Decisions.
I cut yesterday with a ZD 326 60" the dealer dropped off for a few days. Awesome machine. What normally takes 3 hours on my B2920 with 60" MMM only took 1.25 hours on the ZD.
The ZD was a little rough at times due to my property but overall a nice ride.
The price is tough to swallow but I'm strongly considering one.
