natural gas (for the time being)

Key words are 'time being'. My primary heat source is bio mass as in dried field corn which for me is almost free. Think my total heat bill for an average winter is about 500 bucks total and that includes heating the tractor shop with in floor heat but it's propane fired. The house is 100% bio mass. We have around 19 in the walls and 45 in the ceiling on the second story.

The driveway is no problem. I drove mine about 7 miles on the road from my in-laws place because I didn't have a trailer at the time...

Mine (tractors) get more road miles than field miles.
