The Toro Z Master and GrandStand Mowers

Toro Z Master Professional 5000 Series

BLOOMINGTON, Minn., October 24, 2012 — Toro Z Master Professional 5000/6000 Series and GrandStand electronic fuel injected (EFI) mowers utilize the latest in fuel management technology, reducing fuel consumption and emissions while increasing performance. Owners can save up to 25% on fuel costs.

“Since fuel is one of their major expenses, contractors look for alternatives to reduce operating costs,” explains Chris Hannan, marketing manager for Toro. “EFI mowers allow contractors to cut their fuel expenses without the effort of converting their fleet to alternative fuel sources.” The Z Master and GrandStand EFI models feature a powerful Kohler engine with a closed-loop EFI system. This allows the engine to automatically adapt to load, weather, fuel and altitude changes. Since the engine is continuously running at optimal levels, fuel consumption and emissions are dramatically reduced. Z Master and GrandStand EFI mowers are designed to keep operators productive. Easy starting in a wide range of altitudes and conditions, along with no-choke starting, helps operators get down to work quickly. A system of engine sensors monitors the engine while running, and indicator lights provide early warning of any potential issues before they actually occur. This ensures an outstanding level of reliability and reduced service times. The Z Master and GrandStand EFI mowers also come standard with a durable 7-gauge steel TURBO FORCE deck in 52”, 60” and 72” cutting widths. The deck features a patented adjustable discharge baffle, flexible rubber discharge chute, high-strength cutting blades, a rugged bull-nose front bumper and the industry’s toughest spindle assemblies. All of these features combine to provide a pristine after-cut appearance in a durable and dependable package.
