What’s something most TractorByNet members don’t know about you?

Most are not really aware of the type of work I have spent time at. I have worked in a bank, on a survey crew doing third order work, as surveyor laying out site work or roadways, When working for Contractor making sure all aspects of the site construction met specifications, managed work crews of forty men or so in my early twenties doing road, sewer, asphalt, cement and other various jobs.

In the Hydrocarbon industry I was involved with well maintenance, design of well pumping systems, corrosion control, well workovers, construction supervision, steam generation and the daily work at a gas plant.

Probably I’m most proud of being able to ski into Bow Hut for my 55 birthday or the many bicycle rides between Jasper and Banff or taking the whole family on a three week bicycle vacation through South East Alaska using the Marine Highway system [Ferries]
