How long have you been a member of TractorByNet?
I’ve been a member for four months now. I found the site through an internet search.

What do you like best about TractorByNet?
It is a great place to convey ideas and learn from one another. It is also a great place to talk with people who love tractors and equipment.

What type of tractor do you own? A Kioti CK20S.

How long have you owned or operated tractors? 4 months, about the same time that I joined.

What do you enjoy most about tractors?
The tractor is a solid built tractor with many refinements not found in other tractors of its size. It has a great warranty also.

How often do you use your tractor? So far, about 25 hours a month. This will slow during the winter.

Tell us about your property.
We own about 5 acres. 1 ½ of which is in pasture. The other is yard and wooded.

Tell us about your vehicles.
I own a 2013 Ford F150, small trailer, and many pieces of support equipment.

Do you have any pets?
My dog “Dolly” is a 75 lb. black and tan hound/rottweiler mix. She loves riding on the Kioti and is always around when I am on the tractor. I think she likes my tractor as much as I do.

What sort of modifications or customization have you done to your tractor?
I have added lift hooks and clevises to my loader bucket and I have added extra lighting.

What sort of tools, attachments or equipment do you use with your tractor on a regular basis?
I use a 4-ft. finishing mower, 4-ft. brush cutter, boom pole, 6-ft. blade, 4-ft. box blade, plows, and a disk.

Mowing
Mowing with his CK20S.

What do you mainly use your tractor for?
I use it to mow my yard and brush cut the pasture. I use the FEL and boom pole to drag wood up and cut it for the winter. Both attachments are great in dragging logs and bringing wood out to the house. The FEL is the most useful part of a tractor.

Do you maintain crops?
I grow a large garden as a hobby and a means to put up food. We grow corn, cucumbers, beans, tomatoes, onions, squash, etc.

What do you like about the area you live in?
I love the mountains, and the views. Although, the steep grades do pose challenges.

What sort of terrain is common in your area? Mountains and large hills.

What sort of trees and vegetation are common in your area? Hickory, oak, popular, and cedar.

What’s something most TractorByNet members don’t know about you?
I received a Bronze Star while serving in Afghanistan.

What are some of your other hobbies?
I love working with my tractor, wood, and metal working.
