Fendt Aims to Expand Full Line

Fendt HarvestAll agricultural machinery from one manufacturer and the service for it from one dealer – that offers numerous benefits for agricultural enterprises. For this reason, AGCO/Fendt expands its product portfolio and will now offer its customers hay rakes, tedders as well as drum and disc mowers. The forage harvesting machines are produced at the AGCO location in Feucht, Bavaria.

The demands of professional farming are high. Besides sustainable, environmentally friendly and resource-saving production methods, an increase in efficiency is also crucial. That requires smart ideas. That is why AGCO/Fendt has expanded its product portfolio and now offers its customers Fendt forage harvesting machinery in addition to the familiar, extensive tractor and harvesting product lines. Because products and services all offered from one source saves trips, time and money. That offers customers even more flexibility, expertise and service.

Products for all farm and machine sizes

Included in the new line are the drum mower Fendt Cutter (working width 2.20 m to 3.26 m, 2 to 4 mowing drums), the disc mower Fendt Slicer (1.66 m to 9.30 m working width), the rotary hay rake Fendt Former (3.4 m to 12.50 m working width, 1 – 4 rotors) and the tedder Fendt Twister (4 m to 17.5 m working width, 4 to 14 rotors). The Fendt forage harvesting machines are available for all farm and machine sizes.

Expertise and constant further developmentWith the site in Feucht, AGCO’s European centre of excellence for forage harvesting, there are now four locations in Germany that build Fendt machines. The location has been part of the AGCO Corporation since 2011 and has been active in the area of innovative agricultural engineering for 95 years.

The Fendt forage harvesting machines will be offered for early sales in August 2016 and will be available on the market for the harvest 2017.
