Ford 9N (1939-1942)
The Ford N series tractors need no introduction and if we had to crown an all-time ranking, the N would be right up there.
The 9N was a tough, versatile, small farm machine with a very attractive $585 starting price in 1939 ($10,800 in 2020 dollars).
A 20.29 horsepower 4-cylinder engine pumped out 84lb-ft of torque.
Like all good American iron, the 9N was built to last and oh did it ever. You’ll still find these tractors all over the place, still doing work 70-80 years later.
