Allis chalmers 190xt diesel block heater/pre heater
Hey all, I have a 190xt that I have been slowly working on. Can anyone tell me the location of the block heater? I have been told its a two bolt style plate but I cannot figure out where it would...- bullfighter99

AC 190XT Propane
Model Year: 0
190XT on propane, AC's were good basic tractors. They were manufactured to closer tolerances than most tractors at the time, and it shows in longevity. This early series 190 was primarily used for commercial hay baling before I bought it. I use it for general work at a tree farm, mostly food plots and cleanup. Over 20 years, the only repair was a 3/8x1 bolt in the transmission, resulted in breaking the tractor and tearing down the transmission.
Pros: Dependable, operates cheap.
Cons: Parts are not available at the parts store.
