Allis Chalmers 6140 4WD?
Understand that it has Toyosha engine but the tractor was made by Hinomoto. Parts sem to be available for now from agco. Anyone have any experience with them? I seem them rated 40 HP and 33 HP...- jfh0jfh

AC 6140 Dependable
Model Year: 1985
Purchased for site work in building a house and also small timber jobs for removal of logs and firewood. Has done well. This is a 4WD unit. While logging I have a Farmi 3 pt winch mounted and together they perform well. I bought a set of rear chains, but honestly they are not needed in most circumstances. Only problem I have had with the unit is to replace the water pump once. The repair shop was able to get the part, although this is a Japanese made orphan. Also the shifting is a bit rough.
Pros: Efficient, dependable.
Cons: May be hard to get parts in future.

Model Year: 1984
I been using this tractor to mow 20 acres for over 10 years. Fortunately, the tractor starts easily and performs great. However, I do believe I am on borrowed time as replacement parts for this tractor are very hard to find or do not exist.
Pros: Performance and build quality.
Cons: 1. Lack of available parts.
