Model Year: 2004

I use this rig for field mowing, rotor tilling, some plowing, landscaping and road grading. Has done everything I have ever needed with very little fuel use!! Only trouble I have had is 2 power steering hoses, the fuel bowl cracked, and 3 or 4 clutch return springs( on the pedal).

Pros: Price, well made.
Cons: Clutch return springs are crap!

Tractor is not used a lot, but is reliable and has always done what I wanted. You just take your time and don't expect 50 hp from 28. I bought the tractor partially because of weight and the transmission (12 speed forward & back). When I compared tractors and their weight, there was 1200 more pounds of something there. I use front loader, box blade,blade,5 ft shredder,& post hole digger. Have had very little trouble, Power Steering pump and tank (replace plastic with factory metal tank), clutch pedal spring broke,1 head light & Back light broke.

Pros: Operation easy; Power adequate; Transmission ranges.
Cons: Dealer Support; Literature availability; Parts availabilty.

The 2810 I own was new, but bought a year after manufacture. The tractor has been dependable and has required minimal repairs thus far. It usually needs hydraulic fluid maintenance - change seals etc. I have had to replace some of the hoses and found it difficult to have them made locally as there are multiple fitting types used that most shops don't support. The seat was too small for me so I upgraded it to a larger more adjustable seat which is much more comfortable.

Pros: Good dependability, easy to maintain, and use
Cons: Parts are hard to get as most dealers don't stay in business or at least support Branson very long.

Great Tractor
Model Year: 2005

This tractor replaces a 1959 Massey Ferguson that I had in the seventies. It's a "Cadillac" compared to what I had. I wish my Fords had power steering like this tractor has. It is used mostly for grading our half-mile driveway. Some brush hogging, some end loading, and dragging logs out of a wooded area. At 87, my legs don't work like they used to, so I fabricated a replacement 2-step ladder instead of the 1-step as furnished. It has helped a great deal. The only real problem I had was the fuel shutoff solenoid. The rubber boot on the end is essential. I found a replacement at LarryB's on the internet for $10.

Pros: Easy to use
Cons: None
