Case IH 1490
Model Year: 1983
Bought the tractor used with 106 hrs on it (original hrs) Previous owners said they could not get any good out of it. Plagued with many problems. I took it home changed fuel, oil filters, some minor adjustments and all works well ever since. I have a 84' Schulte blower, Frey backhoe and a front loader with it and all working well. Parts are easy to find and starts well in cold weather.
Pros: Good solid tractor, good on fuel.
Cons: Not fast enough on open road.
