Case IH Farmall 31
Model Year: 2010
I have had this tractor for four months now. I haven't put many hours on it so far, mostly because I didn't have any ballast on the back end. I bought it w/ the FEL, and the bucket sits far enough forward (farther than my dad's NH TC 33) that any significant load in the bucket makes it really light in the tail. I just built a ballast box, which has made it much more stable. So far I'm really impressed with features and build quality. I bought it with many of the options, including: -hydrostatic transmission -quick-attach bucket and forks -deluxe 3PT (extendable arms and leveling cranks) -cruise control, etc. The best part of this tractor purchase was the price. It was a factory hold-over. It had been sitting in the factory yard in Dublin, GA for almost a year, until the factory closed. They unloaded all the inventory left on site at huge discounts to dealers in the South, I got it for $15,400 with the FEL. The quick-attach forks were another $450. The only noticeable wear was some faded paint in a few spots, but it had not been used at all.
Pros: Great power, lots of convenient options.
Cons: FEL needs major counterbalance to be able to do any work.
