cub cadet gtx 2100
I am interested in purchasing a garden tractor, I was all but sold on the John Deere x 530 but I went to see a cub cadet dealer he showed me a gtx2100, said it was similar to the deere mower...- pittfan924

On the quality: I find the plastic hood rubs on the black shroud and leaves a white rub mark and looks like garbage. I put trim on around the hood to fix the palm. Head light lens are not sealed allowing in dirt that's a pain in the (!) to clean and I've replaced the bulbs already. I have the fabricated 54" deck on this unit and its a pain to clean on top of it with a water hose won't do it has to many brackets holding the grass there so you need to lay on the ground and dig it out by hand. Cold weather the EPS (power steering) stops working. It's not very efficient; it loves the gas! If spending 6500 bucks on a mower I suggest adding a few extra dollars and get a diesel model as I will be selling this unit and cutting my losses.
Pros: Dealers everywhere for parts.
