Do not feel the forward/reverse controls are safe. The machine's brake pedal is left foot operated. Forward is right foot operated and looks and feels like a conventional brake pedal. My reaction to making an emergency stop has been to depress the forward control more when in fact I need to release it to stop. Brakes are automatically applied on release of the speed control pedal. Do not like the mower stop interlock on reversing. Fuel consumption appeals quite high.

Pros: Zero turn adds manouverability.
Cons: Controls and instrument difficult to see while operating.

Been using this mower for 1 1/2 yrs. now and couldn't be more pleased. Mows very quick and does not burn yard when turning as this model year fixed that problem. Had belt come off and messed up cooling fan, was under warranty and was fixed with no questions asked or no problems. I was billed for nothing.

Pros: Very easy to handle on flat and steep banks.
Cons: Don't like backup switch disengaging blade-can be bypassed.
