Fiat 640 2wd
I can't find any info on the volume and type fluid to use in the hydraulic system of a Fiat 640 tractor. Any advice will be welcome. PS I live in South Africa and yes this model is around 40...- PJ01

Hi I'm a newbie here and the new-to-me owner of a 1978 White 2-60 MFWD (Fiat 640DT). I have the owners manual and it calls for White type A hydraulic oil 30-311 6352 for the power steering fluid...- airhead

Hi, I got a fiat 640 tractor which I have two years with it now, but has since not given me any problems except with the front bearing only which needs replacement after every ploughing season. I plough on a hundred hectare filed but since then it doesn't give any problems the other one that I have and giving me head ache is the fiat 780 which usually drop the plough in motion. I tried replacing the control valve but the same problem persists. I don't know whether I'm using a wrong pump because its not Bosch.
Pros: Good power.
Cons: Lifts.
