I'd Take Another
Model Year: 1997
I really like my 7635. It hasn't failed me yet, doing everything I've asked it to do. The only things I don't like, is when I'm baling in 95+ degree weather, the brakes will gradually fade away. When this happens, the emergency brake will still stop you, but it's a nuisance. I also don't care for the 4 wheel braking. It'll stop great, but it puts it in 4 wheel drive to do this. Then when you take off, it takes a little time for it to kick back out of 4 wheel drive. It would also be nice if the side windows would open. The back glass is the only window that'll open. Otherwise, it's a great tractor. It's also fairly economical to operate fuel wise.
Pros: Great tractor; very reliable. Plenty of power for what I use it for: haying, no-tilling, brushhogging w/ 15' batwing, etc.
Cons: Brakes fade out in 95+ degree weather when baling do to stop & go situations. Not fond of 4 wheel braking, which kicks it into 4 wheel drive, although it will definitely stop. Could this have something to do with the brakes fading in hot weather?
