The Too Big of a Tractor That I Wasn't Going to Buy
Model Year: 1988
What can i say? Holy cow---it pulls a New Holland 1411 flail discbine around like toy! I needed a 60 - 70 horsepower tractor. Went to a dealer auction in my neighborhood. Saw a lot of too well used and abused tractors. Was eyeballing a couple TN65's & TN75's. When I walked up to the the smartest looking tractor in the yard, running. I climbed up onto this mountain and sat there thinking to myself this is she. Hour meter, I don't believe if I don't know the owner. but it sounded good. I got in when everyone else was just about done and bought it. About $500.00 into all fluids and filters and an ignition switch and she was work-housing for me and my buddy. Have had 6 people stop, look and offer to pay me what paid for it as well as what I've put into it. Guess I must have bought good one? When I phoned my son from the sale and told him the I had bought a 7710 ford, he replied after a couple seconds of silence, "What are you going to do with a 97hp tractor?", which I came back with, "Whatever I want".
Pros: Canopy! You have to wear a coat to cut hay in July! Better than a/c.
Cons: Headlights don't work and when you try to it kills the dual power for 15-20 minutes but did I mention it is 25 years old. It will be fixed I'm an electrician by trade.
