345C Ford
Industrial Utility Tractor
Model Year: 1990

These tractors were built very heavy duty. Unlike the agriculture versions, these have a cast iron oil pan to protect the engine vs stamped sheet metal. They also have a heavy steel plate grill and nose to withstand spills from loader work. One key feature that makes these industrial versions stronger has to do with the loader attachment. Agriculture versions loaders mount to the tractors cast iron backbone / transmission housing. The industrial versions have a heavy welded steel saddle that spans from the front axle to the rear, keeping the stress off the transmission housing. The front axle on these is also rated for 10,000 pounds. The rest of the tractor like the agriculture versions is a time tested proven design. Over-engineered and built to last thousands of hours. Shuttle shift transmission with a lock up torque converter does away with the clutch and makes close quarter maneuvering a breeze.

Pros: Heavy weight work horse, small utility tractor with big tractor durability and performance
Cons: Hydro-static power steering slow to turn at idle speed
