Model Year: 1962
Made this purchase, a Select-O-Speed to replace a good looking Ford 2-N. The 2N was too fast for delicate projects such as bush hogging in close quarters, and the lack of A full time P. T. O. Presently have several attachments. All are 3 point, except IH cycle bar mower, modified for draw bar, and has a trailing wheel; cylinder for bar height. The 1000 hour total for tractor is only since my purchase. Replaced tach-hour meter shortly after purchase. Fifty hours a year was typical 'till this year. Now in declining health.
Pros: Reliable.
Cons: Hints of transmission failures in the future.
