Numerous Problems
Model Year: 2007

I purchased it when I started building our house. It worked great through the first few years, although I only had 200 hours after almost eight years. First, the main center bearing went out while mowing. That was $854.00 at 175 hours. The hand throttle spring broke and the transmission locked in gear at 180 hours. That cost $368. Next, at 200 hours, the fuel injection pump went out. The pump was $1179 plus labor to install. Don't bother trying to have the pump rebuilt, Kioti offers no parts in order to rebuild. The factory support is non-existent. The dealers are going out and parts are not easy to find. This is my last Kioti.

Kioti CK30

We have 3 families attempting to share this one tractor so far in three weeks it's stayed at one home. We are using it for everything from tillage to clearing and so far the CK30 has been a pleasure. We spent almost a year looking for the right manufacturer and model for our needs. So far we are all extremely happy with the purchase. The 4x4 tractor has done everything we've asked of it. Admittedly we're novice tractor owners so far so good.

Pros: Size,power implements and pricing.
Cons: None yet.

More Than Adequate

I previously owned a Lenar 245, which I often found under-powered for certain jobs and a large hill I have on my property. I still have the Lenar. It's easier to jump onto another tractor than to spend an hour changing implements. Both have front loaders but the Kioti certainly has bags more power for lifting. The Lenar is a faster tractor on the main road. I have a Danelander back hoe which I use on both tractors but the Kioti lifts it with ease and drives around with no nose lift if the front loader is removed.

Pros: Plenty lifting power. Very quiet cab.
Cons: Lack of Instruments on dash, cab makes it a little bit blind in places.

Couldn't Ask for More

I searched for almost a year, looking at nearly all manufacturers. Had always owned what might be called American tractors. I loved my N.H., but it was under sized for snow removal. The ck30 has a great weight to power ratio. it moves snow and maintains the driveways with ease. It was reasonably priced and has been serviced faithfully by a local dealer. The dealer did have some in house problems, but they have Gotten it together and have been great to deal with. Honestly couldn't be happier with the purchase or the tractor. I would do it again, no doubts. I think anyone looking for this size tractor would be impressed with the features and quality.

Pros: Power, weight, and quality.
Cons: Can't think of any.

Kioti CK 30 W/ KB2475 and Loader KL130 Loader

This Kioti frame cracked at 1146 hrs. My wife and I use this as a diesel powered wheel barrow and landscape machine around the house. This is not used as a commercial landscape machine! I am pissed. Around 600 hrs. the eyes on hyd. cylinder between the boom cylinder and dipperstick cylinder let go. My dealer said to just take the cylinder off and bring it up and he would take one off a machine he had in stock. It was easier for me to just weld it up myself. I am a master mechanic heavy equipment. The next problem was my wife walking around the corner with the clutch pedal in hand. The weld had let go. So I welded that up. At 990 hrs., the injector pump gears let go. I had that rebuilt for $250 instead of paying $1,200 for a new pump from the dealer. I had been out dragging trees for firewood when the frame cracked in half. I have a KB2475 backhoe and while standing the machine up on the backhoe supported by the loader, the whole machine cracked in half! I work on heavy equipment for a living. Cat and Komatsu equipment do not crack in half do not do this when you do the same thing! The casting is the weak link, it was just under the steering wheel where the casting has the smallest diameter. Make sure you compare this to whatever other machine you consider!

Pros: Lots of sheet metal, seemed to be good quality.
Cons: Poor castings, poor welding, poor poor poor quality, casting of frame broken in half.

Kioti CK HST

Purchased used in excellent condition. Have been using this tractor for a little over a year. Replaced an old LK gear model. The HST feature is nice when using the loader. I have used the tractor with a box blade, middle buster, Ratchet Rake, brush cutter mower and it handles all attachments extremely well. I find the Ratchet Rake especially useful for a lot of landscape chores. Tractor has plenty of power and the operator station is roomy enough for the average person. This is my second Kioti and I would recommend them to a friend. We have a good dealer in our area and that is always a plus.

Pros: Power, price, dealer, easy to operate, reliable.
Cons: None.

Purchased CK30 gear brand new in 08 with loader att and box blade..... since then I have acquired a logging winch, wood splitter, snow blower and a 3000 lbs dump trailer. I use my tractor on a regular basis and have nothing but good to say about the product so far. As you can see by the amount of hrs on it that I do use it a lot. I do most of the maintenance myself and change all oils and lube as per recommendation. I'm impressed with the performance and power of this small tractor.

Pros: Heavier than the competitor, solid and good performance.
Cons: Hydo filter is a bit too low and not protected.

Cons: I bought a used Kioti without owner's manual and nowhere I can get one.

Compact tractors

I have owned the Kioti CK30 almost 5 years now and am totally satisfied with it at the price paid. I planned on cleaning up behind timber cutters on my property and wanted something I could use for gardening and around the property. My wife had retired and wanted a flower bed here and a flower bed there and yada yada. To make a long story short I have put flower beds over a big percentage of 5 acres after digging up the stumps, removing roots and tilling some of it. I bought with a front end loader and backhoe. The reason for 4 stars on performance is this particular tractor shifts very slow. Wonder why I waited so long to buy this piece of equipment at a price much less than the GREEN or Other Orange machines.

Pros: Great little tractor. In 4WDR it will move large amounts of material easily.
Cons: Shifting is very slow even for a tractor.

Kioti CK30 Gear

Great tractor. Heavy, strong, capable. Had a couple minor issues that I was able to resolve via helpful folks on this site. Purchased used with only 50 hrs. Now has 350hrs of stump pulling, snow plowing, firewood hauling. Had an oring go on the front axle which I repaired myself Also has a intermittent glow plug failure which I also fixed myself. Tractor is a workhorse and fun to use.

Pros: Strong workhorse.
Cons: Sparse dealer network.

My Kioti CK30HST

I had been looking for a tractor for over a year, and finally located a very slightly used one, that looked like new. It is a 2004 model that sold new on May 8, 2008. It evidently sat a long time, but it is in excellent condition. It is outfitted with a new 2010 FEL with the quick disconnect Bobcat type bucket attachment, which is really fantastic in the way it works with such ease. The previous owner used it primarily for mowing, and while mowing he ran over a hive of yellow jackets which got him several times, and he had a reaction from the stings, so he went back to the dealer and traded it in for a new CK30 with a cab. He didn't want the FEL, so it ended up on this tractor. That is one really good loader. It had 193 hours on the clock when it was traded back to the dealer, and they used it around the yard and it had 248 hours on it when I bought it. I most recently bought a new KeenKutter 72" finish mower, which is a great mower, and does a real fine job for what I need. I use it for mowing, grading, unloading pallets from trucks, most anything that is too hard to do by hand. It took the place of my Ferris Zero turn mower for most of the mowing chores, as it rides better, is quieter, and does almost as good mowing. I still use the ferris for trimming, and closer work, but the tractor is a little faster as it is a 72" vs 48" for the ferris. I am sure the Ferris will last much longer since I use the Kioti most of the time.

Pros: Good tractor, rides great, handles great, fairly quiet, miserly on fuel.
Cons: Fuel tank is on top of hood, wish it was lower, as I fill it with a 5 gallon fuel can.

Just Like New

Just bought a 2010 CK30 HST with loader, 55" tiller, 72' 3pth finishing mower and 60" bush bull. I have only played in the snow, but can't wait until spring. I have had 3 Kubota's and still have a G1800s for cutting grass. I would never believed I would buy anything but a Kubota, but have been looking at Kioti for a couple of years and really like the CK20s but when I stumbled on this CK30, I couldn't say no. I cant believe how well it starts in the cold better than my BX2200. So far my only dislike is it's small, but I have long legs and the key is in a poor position.

Pros: Price.
Cons: Key location.

CK 30 gear

I purchased the ck30 after 4 months of shopping around. I use it for snow plowing in the winter, has a 66 inch Normand rear snowblower, and for making firewood, around 200 cords a year, Woody hydraulic winch makes it easy. Other useful implements include KL130 loader, box blade, snow bucket, reversable snow plow, forks and post hole digger. This is my 2nd Kioti tractor and not the last.

Pros: Strong build, high ground clearance, easy toand maintain, simple machine, it gets excellent fuel economy.
Cons: Wish it would have a middle range, too much of a difference between low 4th and high 1st gear. The skid-steer quick-attach makes the bucket too far away from the loader, which reduces loader breakout force.

Kioti CK 30 w FEL Little Work Horse

We have been using this tractor for a year now, and have no complaints. It is often put to work in the bush pulling out logs (12-14" diameter & approx 10-12'long) with no issues.The back tires are filled, and this makes a huge difference. I bought the Kioti over Kubota because of it's weight for the same HP tractor. I have also moved a lot of heavy clay dirt, and no back wheel lift at all. The PTO HP is good as we can use the snowblower, and just go through thick snow without a problem.

Pros: Weight, power, build, and dealer service.
Cons: Back fenders are too long for my bush use , as I have bent the right fender and broken a light, but so what.

We bought a ck30 Kioti w/loader, short & to the point. This is the best pound per pound compact tractor from Japan to the good 'ol USA.

I reviewed the different models around this HP and when looking at the features and stats of the Kioti I found they weigh more than competitors and are around or below the other prices. for my applications, weight is important. As for dealers, I bought mine over 150 miles from home, with the intent of not really needing a dealer very often. I perform all maint myself, and get parts online or whenever I get over to a dealer. I have been very satisfies with it's performance, and would buy another Kioti in the future. I intend on purchasing a loader in the future and can review that at a later date

Pros: Weight, durability, hydralics
Cons: Filters on the bottom, low hitch height with R4 tires

I have had my Kioti for about 4 years now and can't say a bad thing about it. I have taken care of my property and driveway as well as moved hundreds of yards of stone and dirt without a hitch. It has been the perfect size tractor for what I need it for. Not to big, not to small and never lacked for power. Only problem I had with it new was battery cables. I kept having to tighten the cables because the tractor would not start and after a year or so of that I found out I had overseas metric cable ends. I bought new cable ends and installed them and have not had a problem since. That's the only reason I gave reliability and dealer 4 stars instead of 5, otherwise it has been a great tractor for me.

Pros: Great value for the money, build quality, comfort and ease of use.
Cons: None I have fould yet.

Shopped around at the AgExpo. Couldn't pass up the deal on a pull tractor. Got this one with FEL, BH, Rear Blade, Auger & Ind. tires delivered to my door with a fresh service and low low hours. So glad to have this machine. It really is an enabler..

This little tractor is definitely a workhorse. I have done things I would have never believed I could do. Have backhoe, bucket, box scraper, bush hog, blade and tiller. I DO keep it inside which definitely helps with the cold, harsh winters of New England. I bought this tractor on price and warranty... was the ONLY one in it's size to offer a 4 year which a lot of other manufacturers are now offering. Would recommend this tractor ONLY if you have a REPUTABLE is in your area. Parts were hard for me to get.

Pros: Ease of use and quite the worker!
Cons: Battery connections and parts availability.
