The tires need water to hold back down when using a bucket. The front lights quit working, the fuel gauge does not work properly, and I had to replace the ignition switch which Kioti had a problem with. Overall the tractor is reliable other than these minor issues.

I replaced my 2004 Kubota 25-horsepower HST four by four with loader and belly mower for a Kioti CK 35-horsepower four by four with a loader, backhoe and rear mount mower for half the cost of the Kubota. I was a little reluctant at first because I had never heard of Kioti, but I'm glad I took the chance. It does everything the Kubota did at half the cost with more attachments. They put a lot of the owner's comfort and easy of operation in mind when they designed this tractor without the attitude or cost. I have cleared property, plowed snow, towed a car stuck in the snow, dug trenches and in ground fire pits, moved felled trees, and cut 5.5 acres of land with it, and it still looks and runs like the day they delivered it. I would definitely purchase another Kioti tractor should the need arise.

After six years of steady use, I have no regrets about purchasing my CK35. I've only had two issues over the past six years: the lower radiator hose fail earlier this year and the relay for the emergency flasher and turn signals failed (couldn't find the relay so pulled the fuse). This tractor is a real workhorse and extremely reliable.

Pros: Reliability, easy to service.
Cons: None.

Hi, I am Greg from Bloomington, IN. Finally got to the position financially to buy a tractor. Have been a Kubota fan for many years. I did not want a hydro tractor and at the time the similar Kubota only offered the hydro trans. Kioti had the shuttle shift trans I wanted. Got lucky and found mine online, only had 62 hrs. on it. Had just been dealer serviced. Looked brand new! Since then has been a joy to own. Had a few minor problems since purchase, nothing major.(ignition switch, and hydraulic leak off the distribution block for loader) Two 45-cent O-rings to fix. Good power and easy to service. For a 35hp tractor, hard to beat the value. I would buy another one again, just a Cadillac in my opinion!

Pros: Excellent value, gear transmission with clutch.
Cons: No mid mount PTO.

My Awesome Little Tractor

I purchased this tractor for a couple reasons. The size of the Kioti CK35 is small enough to leave space in my garage, get under apple trees relatively easy, yet strong enough and versatile enough to be productive and useful. It does not have many hours on it yet, very reliable. It gets used in extreme cold. I do wish I had a cab somedays.

Pros: Well built and heavy yet maneuverable, reliable.
Cons: Does not have draft control.

Kioti CK 35

Bought this machine in Oct 2010...very satisfied with overall quality & workmanship. Tractor is easy to service; filters are easy to locate & change. Implements: I use a 12" PHD, 5' box blade, 5' brush hog, 5' disc harrow, 6' landscape rake, along with the dealer installed FEL from Kioti. My property is much easier to keep maintained with this great tractor. Kioti made it easy to own through their finance department..

Pros: Great solid built machine.
Cons: Just wish I had more FL lift. Industrial tires not great for snow use.

Got this tractor, Kioti CK35 HST with a Woods 7 foot backhoe new almost 3 years ago. What a great tractor! It is my first one and looked for about 6 months before picking the Kioti. Has been better than expected and is well built/finished. Everything is well placed for safe operation. Wish I had gotten it years earlier.

Pros: Well built, well priced, comfortable tractor.
Cons: Had to add lights to the ROPS as when lifting the bucked at night blocks the headlights.

Transmission and Hydraulic Fluid Filter

This is truly a great and reliable tractor that I expect will last a long time. The design and layout of the tractor is exceptional. The only thing I would change is the location of the transmission and hydraulic filter. Owners have to be very careful when navigating over small stumps that can roll up into the underframe of the tractor. In my case, it resulted in breaking the filter housing which was fairly easy to fix (less than 100 dollars) Unfortunately, once that happens the tractor cannot be moved since it relies on the same fluid for the transmission and hydraulics. So that leaves you stranded where you are unless the tractor can be towed to the barn and that again is very difficult with the front loader sitting on the ground. This happened to me, but taught me a valuable lesson. We all go through the tractor 101 stage and I was no exception. I still love the machine and the dealer I bought it from has also been exceptional. Also, the weight of this tractor (3000 lbs) helps keep the tractor balanced and grounded. This machine is like a new pair of shoes when you were growing up. Love it!

Very good tractor. It should have the ag. tires not the industrial. Foot throttle and shuttle shifter hard to move at first.

CK 35 after first 50 hours

This tractor was purchased with the immediate need of clearing our wooded property for a new house, and long term of maintaining this property. This is not my first tractor, but is my first modern tractor. My old tractor is a 1949 Allis Chalmers model B. It has served me quite well, hauled lots of sap and skidded lots of logs, but it was basically a frame, engine, wheels and simple hydraulic lift in the back. The Kioti is luxurious compared to the AC. A three point hitch, front end loader, central hydraulics, power steering and four wheel drive make all chores easier, not to mention much less temperamental to start. In addition to the tractor with FEL, I got a Landpride box blad and Caroni flail mower. I haven't used the box blade yet as the driveway is not yet in. It will be 750' long so I suspect the box blade will then get plenty of use. The flail mower has been used to mow the overgrown field by the road and chop underbrush while clearing the house site and driveway right of way. The property has multi-flower roses, grapevine and other brush amongst the trees and the flail mower was good for that. The tractor has no problem powering the 73" flail, even in 4' tall weeds. Skidding multiple logs and a bucket full of wood is easy in middle range. I have not used low range. There is plenty of power to run on the road in hi range, even on grades. Pulling a 5000 lb. chipper posed no problem either. The only problem I found was a pin that attached the left brake rod to the pedal assembly fell out, allowing the rod to drop to the ground and stop the tractor.

Pros: Plenty of power, good size for getting through woods, and is easy to operate.
Cons: Possibly the R-4 tires. It has been dry the short time I've used the tractor. I may wish I had R-1 Ag tires when things get muddy.

This is a really nice workhorse little tractor. Pros: everything so far has been exceptional. Cons: 1.) The turn signals need a protective frame around them. I have cracked them both off working in the woods. 2.) The shuttle shift engagement needs more of a positive feel. Sometimes you can engage forward and let out the clutch to find you are still in neutral. Overall, I love the tractor. But time will tell. I only have 100hrs on it.

Pros: Ease of use.
Cons: Turnsignals and shuttle shift.

My first compact tractor

I rented a Kabota 38HP tractor with FEL & box blade twice before deciding to buy. My wife and I bought this tractor for me for Christmas in 2009, to clear our 5 acre wooded lot in N Florida. It has done everything I have asked of it from digging a retention pond, carrying the spoils to create a building pad, grading the pad, downing trees, clearing and grading 4X4 trails. After a year of use I purchased a Kioti backhoe and this attachment works well for digging tree roots, excavating a hole for the septic tank, and trenches for the drain field and buried water or electric conduits. The HST allows my wife to drive it too.

Pros: good value
Cons: none so far
