mf 1250 or kioti lk3054xs tlb package
Pro and cons? I currently have a MF 1020 WITH LOADER AND BACKHOE AND WANT TO UPGRADE. I CAN BUY A 1250 WITH 8 FT BACKHOE FOR 18500. OR A NEW KIOTI TRACTOR LOADER BACKHOE PACKAGE FOR ABOUT 19500?- mdeltrecco

Kioti LK 3054XS TLB
Model Year: 2004
The only thing not working is the 2nd stage of the clutch. The PTO is always on or always off without a functioning clutch. With the backhoe continuously mounted and the PTO not used the clutch apparently froze up. This is a good tractor, very heavy for its size, industrial quality. The backhoe and loader function very well though recently one of the hoe control valves has started leaking. The operator area is a little cramped. It is fuel efficient. When I changed the transmission/hydraulic oil the magnetic drain plug had caught some metal shavings and that has me concerned but so far it operates just fine. Currently parts seem to be available. I have had very little to do with dealers so can not make a judgment about that except they are all at a distance. I certainly hope that Kioti tractors survives and thrives and isn't swallowed by a larger fish.
Pros: Good quality, good value.
Cons: Work station cramped, future availability of parts a question.
