Stump Puller
Model Year: 2007
I bought this 7000 used with 26 hours on it and tons of extras. Works well once I got used to going from the speed of my skid steer to the slow moving tracks. Living with mostly sand, it goes and moves material where my skidder can't. I have it mainly for the back hoe but am finding more and more uses. I have the three-point and power take-off. for it and am anxious to try it with a brush mower around my pond which is all sand and having tracks it is the only way to get around it. It is nice to drag trees without worrying about tire damage on the skidder. So far I like it.
Pros: Built pretty sturdy, goes through just about anything, small in size and weight so easy to transport on my skid steer trailer, lots of digging power with the backhoe, digs stumps out in no time
Cons: Track controls pull very hard, not a fan of the 31 horsepower van guard engine, hard on fuel, doesn't run the best but could be from sitting, could be why it's hard on fuel as well
