Great Machine
Model Year: 2006

I bought a Mahindra because I'd seen hundreds of them in Tomball, TX and because the dealer was 4 miles from my house. The John Deere dealers were over 20. The dealer was very reliable for 2 years. He sent a great mechanic out for the warranty work. Then he went out of business. The nearest dealers were over an hour away. Since then I've basically been on my own for maintenance and minor issues. I wonder if John Deere would be more dedicated at standing behind their product.

Pros: Great tractor. I'm on it nearly every day in good weather (and bad). Never had anything serious that I couldn't handle.
Cons: Dealers are just that: dealers. They don't seem to be experienced at solutions.

I wouldn't want to not have it.

Pros: Reliable. Tough.
Cons: Manual has conflicts, Mahrinda USA is friendly enough but not as knowledgeable as they should be.

Overall very satisfied with tractor. Only major complaint is with the difficulty moving the shift lever between gears. It is an HST transmission with 3 speeds. Since new it has been hard to move the lever, sometimes requiring rocking the tractor or using two hands to move the lever. Otherwise, I am very happy with the quality and performance of this tractor.

Pros: Strong and reliable, Easy to run
Cons: Weak loader. Hard shifting. Popped out of gear on downhill once, very scary situation.

Great tractor for it's size, easy to use and really good quality for the price. Like the FEL control layout better than other tractors. Only needed the addition of a stereo radio,lights,backup alarm,to make it a perfect tractor to operate.

Pros: excellent value for money, strong, quality construction
Cons: None
