Mahindra 5035 PST
Model Year: 2013
Not enthused about Mahindra now that I own one. I am disappointed in the quality and reliability. Hydraulic leaks, cheap plastic, ignition switch glow plug issues, PST cable freezing in winter, deteriorated failed rubber boots on cables and front boots on power steering arms. Its one thing after another. I would have to say the hype one reads from Mahindra should be taken with a grain of salt. These tractors are simply not built for Canadian winters. Do you research and check reviews about other manufactures. Dealer says they stand behind tractor, but when I said they could buy it back they said they would not do that. Well if thats the case you don't believe in you product. However they do say they will strive to make it right. Make it right after two years of frozen PST in winter makes for a useless tractor when its needed most. Mahindra, pull up your socks, your quality control and reliability are lacking, perhaps this is why they market the tractor value and features. When in reality it seems that the price doesn't reflect quality in build.
Pros: Rugged not in for service (or is that an oxymoron)?
Cons: Its red, and looks nice. Full stop.
