8560 4WD
Model Year: 2011
So far I love this tractor! It is a beast. Put up 132 5x6 hay bales in one day. The tractor did not even seem to notice the loads. It has a well laid out driver area. Since we just started farming it is making the hard jobs easier. Thanks Mahindra!
Pros: It is a BEAST!
Cons: Did not come with a 12 volt receptical.

Model Year: 0
Seems to be a very well built tractor and the 5 year warranty doesn't hurt either. Very comfortable operator station and plenty of power. The only problem I have had is the steering wheel will not stay aligned with the front wheels. It is actually sideways to drive straight. Dealer said its normal and acceptable. Also, the very first bucket of gravel I went to pick up, the hydraulic line blew and myself and the tractor were sprayed with oil. That was very disappointing and hopefully just a faulty belt and not a sign of things to come.
Pros: Comfortable to operate and plenty of power. About twenty thousand less than same specs in John Deere.
Cons: No close dealer for warranty work.

Great Tractor!

I have about 30+ hours on her now. It handles everything I throw at it. Bought a 80 acre ranch that has not been used in 4 1/2 years, so I have a lot of work ahead of me. Started clearing out the pastures and repairing fencing. I definitely bought the tractor for the job ahead. It is built solid that is for sure. Everything is laid out and easy to reach. Mahindra makes a great tractor and the customer service of Marshfield Machinery is by far the best!!!
Pros: Powerful and can handle any attachment out there.
Cons: I should of bought one with a cab... lol.

My Thoughts

This is a beast. Does everything I want to do and some I shouldn't. Lifts logs 20'x20" red oak---no problem. Handles all my farm needs with ease. Handles hills (I live in the Switzerland of Ohio, Monroe County) very well with tires extended out all the way and loaded.
Pros: Power, price, lifting ability. Love it.
Cons: Dealer not close and tool box is kinda cheap.

Solid Tractor

I bought the 8560 4-wheel drive new in 2013. It is a very solid and well-built tractor. I also looked at Kubota but couldn't justify the $10,000 price difference and the lighter weight (I use the front end loader a lot). I now have about 300 trouble free hours.
Pros: Reasonable price, great dealer service, reliability, heavy-duty design
