1225 Massey Ferguson
A Good Little Tractor
Model Year: 1999

Wow, I've owned this little ride going on nine years now! I bought it back in '03 with about 250 hours on the clock. Now has a little over 900. Mine came with a Westendorf TA55 FEL and I bought a Rhino 60" RFM from the dealer with it. Since then I've added several other attachments. The tractor has done almost everything I've asked. Only issue is that it is a little lighter than some of the others, so it does slide around in the snow a little and my Jacobsen PTO rake pushes it around pretty good. Changing fluids is a bit of a pain as far as things being hard to get to, etc. But maintenance-wise, I've been lucky. Replaced battery twice, blew a hydraulic hose on the steering, and replaced a torn seat.

Pros: Very easy on fuel, very reliable, and decent power for size, hydro is great.
Cons: Needs to weigh a little more, and would really like to have better brakes and telescoping 3PH arms.
