210-4 w/ 216 Loader
Model Year: 1980
The 210-4 Massey Ferguson with a 216 loader is a real bargain for hobby farmers. I purchased a 1980 version with just under 630 hrs showing on the Hobbs meter. I spent 2 weeks of spare time partially disasembling, repainting, changing belts and hoses, applying new decals etc. In the process I discovered a leaky axle seal and some front wheel drive issues. The parts to fix these issues were a bit pricey but I still have less than $5,000 in a very capable tractor. This tractor is a joy to work on. Every system is very simple, and these days, its refreshing to see something built from mostly robust metal parts.
Pros: Build quality.
Cons: Parts cost.
