Zetor 4320
Model Year: 1995
I purchased a the tractor for $3,000 about 2 years ago. I bought it because I was tired of renting a Kubota for $35/hr and it was cheap. It had been sitting neglected for several years and the cab was home to a flock of birds. I cleaned up the bird mess, changed the fluids, installed new brake wheel cylinders, and cobbled up some mounts and bolted on an old loader. I have put about a hundred hours on it since then, mostly for moving dirt around a construction project, grading, and other odd jobs. It has paid for itself. I have also blown some snow with an old ARPS-type rotary plowl, and I plan to buy a mower. Although the tractor is a little bit crude by today's standards, I haven't had any real trouble. It doesn't have glow plugs, but starts easily when cold (10 F) if it is plugged in for a few hours. My only issue has been a short in the electrical circuit that powers the heater blower, wipers, and radio. Parts are available by phone or internet from Ridgeway Tractor Parts(at least they were last year in 2010).
Pros: Good basic, reliable tractor. Plenty of power for a 6 foot snow blower and moving dirt.
Cons: Electrical system is sketchy. Brakes require a lot of effort.
