Congrats on your bow buck!

We don't have any game cameras but we see a lot of game and manage to get some good pictures now and then...

I've had this woodchuck around all summer. They raise cain with my hayfield but my wife hates to have me shoot things for without a "good" reason. I was making us some sandwiches this past Sunday and I saw the woodchuck in the back yard. My wife had a garden club meeting to go to around 2:30 and my daughter was off with my mother-in-law. I figured that afternoon would be my chance to get rid of him. We had just finished eating and I looked out the slider and saw this; guess he saved me a .22 Hornet shell I wish I had seen him grab it though.

srossman,

Congrats on the buck. Hows that decoy work for you? I've thought about it, but then don't know anybody who really uses them. Just the TV shows, which I'm sure are paid to use them.

DMF,

AWESOME PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!

Really a once in a lifetime shot. Good job.

Thanks DMF and Eddie.

The decoy behind me really isn't a decoy. It is just my practice target in my back yard. I didn't have my camera with me when I shot it, so these are pictures after I drug the deer back to my house.

Thanks, but it's really my wife that the credit should go to...she's the photographer!

We saw, what we believed to be the same cat this Spring. You can just see my pumpkin plants in the background are pretty small.

That's a really healthy looking bobcat. Nice! :)

You wouldn't happen to have a few more bobcats around you could send my way do you? I've had to dispatch 20 plus of those woodchucks (groundhogs) with a 20 guage shot gun and a .22 this season. I would've much rather seen mother nature take care of them like she did for you.

Absolutely fantastic photos, hat's off to the wife.

Not the largest Tarantula I've seen here, but this one was pretty nice. 'Forgot to put a coin in the shot for reference. He, she, it was about 3 inches across. I don't mind having them outside, just would hate to find one in my bed.

Every morning I walk to the front gate with the kids and wait for the school bus with them. This morning, the sunrise was much better then normal. We're expecting a storm tonight, so maybe that has something to do with it. Whatever the reason, it was very impressive. Here are a few pics that I took.

While downloading and resizing those sunrise pics, I found a few sunset pics that I forgot about. These are probably 3 or 4 years old.
