GM Truck Warranty

Due to Dragos own admissions of picking the wrong stocks, if he says CNG is not the future of energy, then I'm buying all the CNG stock I can get my hands on! :D

Guys, no matter what alternative energy source America embraces, there will be a lot of time needed to switch over. We've already used CNG enough to know what it will take and it will take the least amount of time to convert. The only reason CNG went away is because oil prices dropped in the late 90's.

Nobody's going to convince me that batteries are a cheaper or better solution. They have a much more limited range and can't generate enough power to power large vehicles (yet). I have no idea how filling stations would work for batteries other than some sort of exchange program. Seems like that would take a lot longer to set up than simple CNG filling stations.

The only thing that works is fossil fuels. I could see large OTR trucks being turned into something like a diesel/electric locomotive where the diesel engine powers a electric generator which powers motors at the wheels.

Looking to buy CNG fueling stations CHEAP cheap cheap!!!! call BR5---- leave a message if we have any money left for cell phone minutes we will call you back!! This Gotta make alot of money DARGO say----s!!! NO

:D I can't argue my curse on stocks! But since Betamax didn't make a comeback once discarded, it's unlikely this will be any different. Besides, find a cnc filling station or anyone planning to build one. Sort of like hen's teeth. Buy all products made from them. They are similar in quantity and my thought on them is the same. ;)

Oh, my investments now? Fun. Yup, investing in having fun with my kids. I just bought a half a dozen Jet Skis and 3 ATVs along with 2 more muscle cars. I can't miss there since I don't care if they have zero value when I'm finished with them! :)

For that matter, find any "alternative fuel" filling station.

My point is that CNG is the easiest to build and the fuel is clean and American.

It makes the most sense, the technology is the simplest and we already know how to build it using existing car platforms.

Besides, most of my stocks are doing OK, not losing money, and I'm not a financial, tractor, equipment, car dealer and tractor tire expert all rolled up in one like you. ;)

It gets better --just wait till those grandkids come to visit ----you can send them home ----but you can't tell them no ---so get some money made now so that they will have "all" that money to "play" with---cause you can't say no-----So we better find a fuel source so that they can have fun with THEIR grandkids---it is about them:)

Interesting read. Another reason why I sam buy GM only. Nothing asian will ever be in our drive way.

I know Canada is working on something, and I hope that they can hold on until Pres Obama takes over.

An homest sicere question, does Bush even care??

Just got this in my e-mail

You made the right choice when you put your confidence in General Motors, and we appreciate your past support. I want to assure you that we are making our best vehicles ever, and we have exciting plans for the future. But we need your help now. Simply put, we need you to join us to let Congress know that a bridge loan to help U.S. automakers also helps strengthen the U.S. economy and preserve millions of American jobs.

Despite what you may be hearing, we are not asking Congress for a bailout but rather a loan that will be repaid.

The U.S. economy is at a crossroads due to the worldwide credit crisis, and all Americans are feeling the effects of the worst economic downturn in 75 years. Despite our successful efforts to restructure, reduce costs and enhance liquidity, U.S. auto sales rely on access to credit, which is all but frozen through traditional channels.

The consequences of the domestic auto industry collapsing would far exceed the $25 billion loan needed to bridge the current crisis. According to a recent study by the Center for Automotive Research:

One in 10 American jobs depends on U.S. automakers
Nearly 3 million jobs are at immediate risk
U.S. personal income could be reduced by $150 billion
The tax revenue lost over 3 years would be more than $156 billion

Discussions are now underway in Washington, D.C., concerning loans to support U.S. carmakers. I am asking for your support in this vital effort by contacting your state representatives.

Please take a few minutes to go to www.gmfactsandfiction.com, where we have made it easy for you to contact your U.S. senators and representatives. Just click on the "I'm a Concerned American" link under the "Mobilize Now" section, and enter your name and ZIP code to send a personalized e-mail stating your support for the U.S. automotive industry.

Let me assure you that General Motors has made dramatic improvements over the last 10 years. In fact, we are leading the industry with award-winning vehicles like the Chevrolet Malibu, Cadillac CTS, Buick Enclave, Pontiac G8, GMC Acadia, Chevy Tahoe Hybrid, Saturn AURA and more. We offer 18 models with an EPA estimated 30 MPG highway or better more than Toyota or Honda. GM has 6 hybrids in market and 3 more by mid-2009. GM has closed the quality gap with the imports, and today we are putting our best quality vehicles on the road.

Please share this information with friends and family using the link on the site.

Thank you for helping keep our economy viable.

Sincerely,

I know. Bummer. I'm not a construction company owner like you. I'm just a big kid who grew up poor to teenage parents who always had the idea that I'd never get ahead by working for someone else. Unfortunately, unlike you, it took me up to the age of 35 to be completely debt free and able to do as I please for the rest of my life. I sure wish I could be a construction company owner and an expert on everything like you...

Yeah, if you wanna dish out poo and try to get personal, you gotta eat it too. Unlike you, I don't feel the need to list everything I own, brag about owning any sort of company, or feel so insecure that I have to tell everyone else that I have the best "insert whatever" and you don't. Only two people on here know the businesses I own, and you're not one of them. I actually like to laugh at people in other industries who want to tell me how my businesses and industries are run. It's entertaining. And, it doesn't bother me one twit to talk about some of my stocks bombing. Besides, you just told us all a lot about your ability to tell the truth in your previous post. I'll let you figure out where. :) I learned long ago to keep my cards close to my vest. As far as you know I live in a trailer by myself and live on welfare. That doesn't bother me any. I kinda like it that way. ;)

And, for the record, yeah, the GM factory truck warranties will be just fine with all of the current proposals being discussed. But, I'm sure you already knew that and was probably sitting at the negotiating table.

What is going on in Canada that you're hearing about?

I think it's just common sense. If GM junked all previous customer's warranties, that they'd lose customer base. I don't have to be an industry insider like yourself to know that.

Oh brother. Lighten up and have a little fun with your life. Don't be so afraid to say what's on your mind or make a mistake  Playing your cards close to the vest is great at a real estate settlement table, but this is a tractor & equipment enthusiasts website, not a NATO meeting. :D

As far as putting others down for "listing everything I own", that'd be putting down about 95% of the members here who list their equipment in their signatures, too. Some may find your signature to be a put-down to anyone on this website who posts their equipment in their signatures.

I don't mind if you want to act like an expert about everything or put all of us down with the reverse snobbery signature, but with that, you have to be prepared for a few of us po' folks to put up a little resistance once in a while. ;)

I'll change my signature for you to show you I don't want to make you uncomfortable.

Nuff said, back to the GM truck warranties
