First day in seat of NH LB-115 TLB

Well, mine has every option except the big wheels and four wheel steer, and its 2000 pounds less than my cat was. They are a very light machine compared to some. They also burn an amazing amount of fuel. I use almost double what my perkins engined cat burned. Although that correlates with the horsepower: 78 vs 108. Still, its a big enough figure when you work it hard for 1000 plus hours a year that fuel consumption is going to be a factor for my next purchase. I spend about 100 dollars per 8 hour day at 85-95 cents per litre. When the price of fuel was higher it really hurt to fill it up at the same pump as my gravel truck.

I also have the Powershift, so maybe that adds more weight....

An LB115 is 19,180 lbs without the extra buckets . Mine was around 10 tonnes with the 3 extra buckets and 4in1 front bucket . My 16000 kilogram rated ridgid truck used to wheelstand untill the towbar hit the ground when i was loading it on the back .

You got an absolute bargain with that machine , i paid $77,000 for mine with 1200 hours on the clock . I got $88,000 for it when i was finished with it .

Also5 backhoe buckets 12" 18" 24" 30" 26" & 48"
and a Gannon sheepsfoot in ex. condition

The only thing I worry about is the hours. At 5880 hours, I have to wonder what major component failure is about to occur.

I'm catching up a little late,WOW. Hours may be a little high and tire wear will be a consideration, but still makes my stuff look like toys. Way too wet here to do anything useful at all.

Sheez... all those backhoe buckets are nearly $24K... That's a pretty incredible deal - IMO. Even if you have to rebuild the engine and the transmission; you'll still be money ahead.

It wasn't one of those situations where the wife finds out the husband was wandering around town spending time in places he shouldn't be - - so, she decides to "donate" a few of his things to anyone and everyone for pennies on the dollar!!

Know a guy that operates heavy equipment at the landfill. He scored a new compound bow, a slew of arrows and some fleece camo gear. The wife or girlfriend dumped a bunch of "his" stuff 'cause she was flamed!
