bx24 MMM compability

I have had my bx24 for about a month now, I have finally sold the other tractors I had and now find myself in the position of needing to purchase a MMM either a 54 or a 60". I have searched the forums and am trying to find a list of compatable model numbers that would fit my machine. I have read that Mower decks from the bx22's on up will fit but the rear mounting points for the bx24's are wider. I have the ability to cut and move these attachment points if that is the only difference. Has anybody here ever put together a list of model numbers that are interchangeable (even with slight modification)> I have seen a few decks on craigslist as well as a few at dealerships for older BX tractors for decent money but cant get a straight story as to what the differences are in the decks and IF they will actually work with a BX24. Any help would be appreciated

Good question. I am too not sure of which models would fit. I have the 60" MMM on my bx24 and I love it but i asked for it from the dealer when I got the machine delivered. Have you priced one from the dealer yet? They might have a used one for sale as I saw my dealer had one once.

dealer wants $2,000.00 for the 60" and 1,700.00 for the 54" too pricey for me thats why i am looking fro one from an older bx series.

I wish there was such a list as I have a 48'' MMM off a 2003 BX1500 I'd like to sell.

Have you priced one from the dealer yet?
*They might have a used one for sale as I saw my dealer had one once.

*Used should be some where around 1/2 of new.

Perhaps call/email a few different dealers, share what you're searching for and see what they have to say.......?

none of the dealers in my area are any real help all they do is look in the catolog and give me the list prices ect. I rember reading somplace that the mower decks from bx22's on up will fit but the rear lift points need to be cut off and moved further appart as the bx24's are a few inches wider. I have the ability to cut and weld but I want to know if everything else like the front mount driveshaft ect are the same. I just dont want to get something off ebay or craigslist and find that it wont fit.

Since the dealer's don't seem to know, and I've never tried this, maybe an email to Kubota itself with a pointed question would get results...It's a sale for them if it's good.

The answer is right on the Kubota site, three listed to fit the BX24.

I know those will fit, that is not the question. The question I am asking i guess is which mower decks (if any) will fit the bx24 that came from other models like the bx22. Someplace i heard or read that say a bx22 deck will fit with only minor modification to the rear 2 attachment points. I am trying to find an inexpensive deck not one that is 2,000.00 I was looking for anybody that may have done this. Decks from older bx series are more available and somewhat more resonable. I just dont want to buy one and find that it is totally different.
